UDC: A) Add street frontage for the record along Pima and along Alvernon (approx. 235’ per aerial map). Understood the frontage along Alvernon is less than 300 feet (lot line) and an existing freestanding sign is to remain at southern end of the site. Proposal to add a second freestanding sign along this Alvernon frontage is a review under the SDRC process. (Thank you for sharing the materials, staff report underway for the process.) B) NEXT STEP - SDRC PROCESS: • *On TDC portal, apply for a “Master Sign Program” (understood one sign, the overall process is this name, though a Singular sign Design Option) • *Upload all diagrams and the MSP applications • *Include a street view or photo of the architectural building style to show relationship to the sign design. Please see UDC 7A.7.1.E and G. • *On your sign elevation diagram, add notes of materials on the sign structure (i.e. where metal and type, masonry, any stucco, etc.) AFTER THE SDRC process has been completed – C) the sign is within the city right of way and requires a temporary revocable easement (TRE) to be submitted and reviewed for authorization with the City Real Estate Department. Staff will guide you after SDRC process has been completed. Resubmit after SDRC and ROW permit / TRE issued – and add these notes: 2) NEC / OLC / FCC - A) Add note that power to be run by others via separate building permit. 3) IBC: A) add note how letters mounted to aluminum cabinet (i.e. size / typical number of screws / bolts) B) add note how cabinet is mounted to the planned masonry base (i.e. size / type / number of bolts /pipe size / footer dimensions/ saddle locations to pipe ) Please feel free to email me with any questions.
