This letter reflects comments to be addressed. Additional comments may be provided in subsequent reviews. Code reference: Unified Development Code, Article 7A: Sign Standards, adopted Outdoor Lighting Code, adopted Building Code. Please feel free to reach out with any questions you may have. Tami.Goltz@tucsonaz.gov or 520-837-5049. 1) Minimum setback for freestanding signs is 20’ from face of curb to leading edge of sign per Section 7A.10.2.C.2.a.1.i.d. Neither Signs H or I meet this specification. Revise location to meet setback requirements. 2) Signs H & I do not appear to be located on private property. All signs must be located within private property boundaries. Revise location to within property boundaries. 3) Sight Visibility Triangles have not been identified correctly for Sign H. Please review standards of Section 10-01.5.1 of the UDC for direction on calculating sight visibility triangles. Revise site plan to meet these standards. |
