Illustrate how the existing vertical support is supported. i. What is supporting the vertical member. ii. What fastener is used to connect the vertical member to its supporting structure. d. Size and gauge of the new steel beam. e. Length of steel beam. f. Type of fasteners used. i. If welding is used, specify it. 2. ALUMINUM PLATE a. Provide detail drawings. i. What is the required overlap dimension with the new horizontal steel beam. ii. What is the required overlap dimension with the existing side vertical steel members. iii. What is the required overlap dimension with the existing horizontal steel beam. iv. How is this plate fastened to the steel members. 1. If welding is used, please specify on your detail drawing. 3. CHANNEL LETTERS a. What fasteners used to attached the letters to the aluminum plate. i. Please provide detail drawing illustrating this. ii. How often do these fastener occur. iii. Show on your drawing their location. 4. Please resubmit. |

Once this information has been verified, update the plans and the TDC online application through a sub-record request. Once the address has been updated, you can resubmit for review. 2) All dimensions must be in feet.decimal, not feet or inches. 3) Welding on site that is called out on sign A, requires a Special Inspection form and sealed engineering. Please resubmit with both. 4) Show overall height from grade to top of sign. 5) Change of copy under 35 sq ft do not require permit. Remove from sign package. |
