Hire an engineer to provide stamped engineering for the attaching of the wall signs to the wall. (Note: the attachment details on your drawings must match the engineering) 2. Your engineer needs to hire special inspector. He will be required to go up in the bucket to inspect the attaching of the wall signs at the time of installation. 3. Fill out and return the linked Special Inspection form https://www.tucsonaz.gov/files/sharedassets/public/v/1/city-services/planning-development-services/documents/special_inspection_certificate.pdf You fill out the top and Part A, Your Special Inspector fills out Part B 4. Once the Special Inspection Certificate is filled out. 5. It is to be sent back to us. 6. Our COT engineer has to then sign his approval of the special inspector. 7. We then send the Special Inspection Certificate back to you. You can then begin your installation. *Note: the Special Inspector must be present at time of installation and go up in the bucket truck 8. Your special inspector must fill out the remainder of the Special Inspection Certificate after he has witnessed the installation. 9. Special Inspection Certificate must then be sent back to us |
