The submitted documents were incomplete and a thorough plan review could not be performed. Please be aware, new comments may arise with the next review. Should the above not followed, it may delay your approval. COMMENTS: 1. Address a. My previous address comment was not resolved. i. The sign is located at a different address compared to the building permit address. Please correct this discrepancy. Please note that a sign cannot be installed on another address different from the actual location of the facility being advertised. A legal document/agreement may have to be executed and recorded to allow this to occur. ii. The corrected address on the drawing is a different address to the actual location of the sign. iii. Please correct the building permit address to match the location of the actual sign. 2. NOTE: Electrical power cannot come from another parcel/address. a. May we suggest, installing an electrical pedestal on the same parcel that this sign is located. 3. Please resubmit. This letter reflects comments to be addressed. Provide updated Plans/calculations and a written response Letter to each of the notated items indicating action taken. Resubmitted plans that do not contain a written response Letter addressing each of the notated items indicating action taken, may be delayed until response letter is received. Code reference, 2018 International Building Code (IBC), 2017 National Electrical Code (NEC). >>> These comments were not addressed. We cannot approve the sign until the address and the power supply are corrected. 1. This parcel that the sign is on is not the same as the address used on the permit. The location of the sign does not have an existing building and no records of existing electrical service to the parcel. 141019200 10310 E DREXEL RD >>> You will need to file a change of address request to have the permit address corrected, and the plans need to show the correct address. 2. Show all wiring methods in detail for all new branch circuit wiring to the new monument sign. Show basic electrical route from service panel to the sign. Conductor size/type and conduit size/type. Note wet use requirements. NEC arts; 600.5(D), 300 and 408.4. >>> We need a basic understanding of how power is getting to this sign considering it is on an empty lot with no existing buildings or power. 3. Electrical service cannot be located on a separate parcel. How is power getting to this sign? This sign may require a new electrical service to be installed on this parcel.
