Codes: Unified Development Code (UDC 7A Sign Standards), National Electrical Code (NEC 600), Tucson, Pima County Outdoor Lighting Code, International Building Code (IBC) 2018

1. UDC:
A) the sign height of approx 6' requires a 2.5' setback from start of scenic buffer / new property line. please add this dimension to the roadway widening plan

B) please provide the distance from the new curb to the new property line on the roadway widening plan. let me know if you need any assistance and I'll consult with Transportation for you ASAP

C) please add a note that sign light will be through letters / characters for scenic district

D) please remove page 6 of the plan set - I'm familiar with the circumstances and this is not a digital sign (digital signs cannot be in the buffer on a scenic route)

2) NEC / OLC:
A) please add note clarifying use of existing power, new stub out due to location or do you have to have an electrician run a new line?

3) IBC:
A) please just add your standard detail for saddle / bolt mounts for cabinet to pole

Please email me when you've resubmitted and I'll pull the plan ASAP. If you have any questions, please email me as well.

If you need to move the sign now due to roadway work and set it elsewhere - SECURELY / SAFELY TIED IN - on the site, as a licensed contractor, you know how to do so and you may do so while we are working on the final sign placement. Please do not reconnect to power until sign permit is issued though. Thank you!
