UDC: A) Maximum sign area for a freestanding sign within the R-1 zone for a nonresidential use (i.e. church), is 32 square feet. Please measure the original static cabinet to be kept, and ensure total sign area is on the plan sheet with both static and digital cabinets. B) Add note - maximum rate of change is 1 x per minute C) Add note - digital sign may not have animations D) understood sign meets setbacks and is on private property, location plan acceptable - not near any SVT at 35' setback 2. NEC / OLC: A) appears static cabinet would have separate shut off - clarify / show B) provide a letter or spec sheet from manufacturer indicating the brand and unit selected is FCC compliant C) provide a letter or spec sheet from manufacturer indicated the brand and unit selected will be set to a maximum light brightness of 4400K during the day and can dim down to a maximum light brightness to 200 Nits from sunset to midnight curfew (sign may be on past midnight for special events) D) provide clarification on the plan as to which option the sign will have for dimming, photocell sensor, timer, etc E) provide clarification on the volts, amps, circuits for the specified unit. F) add note unit is full color capable 3. IBC: A) mounting notes are for a unit to wall, need mounting for unit to freestanding sign B) specify no field welds to be done C) add specific number and size of bolts / nuts/ composition for mount - show where brackets are on existing structure - add a detail for mount on the plan sheet Depending on responses provided, further review comments may be forthcoming. |
