General criteria A) a Singular Sign Design Option is required to have a second sign at a premise with less than 450' of street frontage. An existing monument sign is at this location for the other tenant on the adjacent parcel. Both parcels together are operating as a single premise. B) please dimension the "base" area of the sign and ensure it is at least 2' tall from the ground to the area under the cabinet C) please fill out the SDRC application for allowance to have a second freestanding sign at the premise and submit on the TDC online portal - apply for a Singular Sign Design Option. D) on the plans, please clarify the materials used on the sign base, and show how the materials on the sign relate to the architecture of building and to the adjacent existing sign as depicted in the photos shown. E) SDRC process is about good sign design in exchange for code variations. Embellishments and architecture of the building, including lighting, and style, should be distinct. The text area for the cabinet is not shown, just as a blank space. It may help to show the SDRC process how the lighting is innovative, but within code, and matches the signs anticipated for the tenant space. Please email me with any questions you may have.
