1. UDC:
A) per UDC 7A.10.2.C.2.ii. to have a second freestanding sign at a premise with less than 450 of frontage, an application must be reviewed and approved by the SDRC process. Staff will open an SDRC case once the following items are address on revised plans.

B) Per UDC 7A.7.10.2.C.2.ii. list the length of the property line frontage along Valencia Road (appox 235') and resubmit the sign permit package, and include sheet 4 of the Development plan DP22-0078.

C) Show the existing freestanding sign location on the location plan and provide photos of that sign and the existing and new buildings.

D) Per 7A.7.1. the purpose of the Sign Standards and Sign Design Option process require good sign design. Please see the design criteria of 7A.7.1.E as well, and include a distinct top, middle and base for the sign. The architecture of the location should be reflected on the sign design, as well as colors, lighting, etc. Photos and building elevation plans will be useful for review of the request to show the materials and any architectural embellishments of the site.

E) resubmit this permit package to this permit number, TS-PRM-0223-00166, along with the completed SDRC applications.

F) Please know that another sign contractor has submitted plans for the wall signs, and you may wish to review those plans for the font, color, lighting, etc. for the location. Drive thru signs have not been submitted yet at this time.

G) Should a singular sign design option be approved, staff will then review the construction in more detail.

H) If you have any questions, please email me at Heather.Thrall@tucsonaz.gov
