The proposed signage cannot be approved as submitted. Please complete the following steps in order prior to sign permit approval:

1. Historic / Special District Review
The site is located within a Historic/Special District. All proposed signage must first obtain approval through the applicable Historic/Special District review process. Provide documentation of approval. Contact Maria.Gayosso@tucsonaz.gov for more infomation.

2. Minor Development Package (DP)
After Historic/Special District approval, submit a Minor Development Package to depict all proposed signage, including location, size, height, and sign type for each sign.

3. Master Sign Program (MSP) Required
A Master Sign Program is required to request deviations from UDC Article 7A standards pursuant to UDC 7A.7.1, including but not limited to:

More than one freestanding pole sign (limit is one) per UDC 7A.10.2.C.2.2.i;

Freestanding sign height (maximum 12 feet) per UDC 7A.10.2.C.2.a.iii.c; and

Off-site signage (signs advertising a use not located on the premises meet the definition of off-site sign per UDC 11.4, and the sign types permitted in multifamily zoning are identified in UDC 7A.10.2.C.3.ii).

4. Sign Permit Application
After approval of the Historic/Special District review, the revised DP, and the MSP, submit a sign permit application consistent with the approved plans and UDC Article 7A standards.
