Please paste the review comment individually and enter your response directly below it. Please do this for every comment. Review will not proceed without the response letter. The submitted documents were incomplete and a thorough plan review could not be performed. Please be aware, new comments may arise with the next review. Should the above not followed, it may delay your approval. COMMENTS: 1. Submit Structural Engineer calculations and detail drawings for this sign. 2. Submit the structural calculations illustrating resistance to lateral forces such as the wind (use 115 mph at 3 second gust for the calculation). 3. Detail drawings to indicate at every joint using welding callout as to what type of welding is being used (the submitted drawing is not complete when it comes to attachment/fastening used). 4. What part of the existing sign/cabinet is being used to attach the new sign/Star. Show this on your drawing. (Note on drawing is: “Support pipe welded to cabinet”) 5. Provide structural calculations confirming existing sign will be able to resist forces (such as the wind), exerted by this 12 foot tall sign/star and the existing rectangular sign fully cladded with sign faces onto the existing posts. 6. Sign anchors for signs over 30ft above grade to include all types (concrete anchors, epoxy, thru-bolts, welding etc) will require a special inspection. Please have your special inspector complete and submit the Special Inspection Certificate form. Please do make sure to complete Part A and B at this time, This must be submitted/ processed prior to issuance of the permit. 7. Please resubmit.
