UDC: A) Site is a premise for Sign standards. Add dimension of 217 feet along the Wilmot street lot line frontage and clarify on plan the actual dimensions of the indicated easement length along the Tanque Verde driveway. B) Revise the permit application frontage to match the above notations. C) I acknowledge the proposed total wall sign area is within code, thank you. D) I acknowledge the monument sign on Wilmot is allowed in the location and size proposed. E) For the monument proposed off Tanque Verde in an indicated easement, I understand that the drawing provided Is indicating an easement with a docket and page. To clarify types of easements (ie. Both access and sign easements for this parcel are required), provide the actual easement document recorded – i.e. the survey map has a legal descriptions – the property management will have these records as part of the purchase of the property (title documents) 2. NEC: 600 – each sign sheet add these standard notes: A) add note that all signs shall be UL, MET or equivalent rating B) add note dedicated sign circuit(s) provided C) add note that all sign circuits shall be labeled at power/ breaker panel D) add note UL sticker, manufacturer sticker and installer sticker to be added to sign E) for monument sign on Wilmot – add note use existing power – to be checked in field F) for proposed monument sign on Tanque Verde – add note that power to be run by others via separate building permit. 3. OLC - A) add note whether business is open 24/7 and if not, the timer shall shut signs off at midnight. 4. IBC: A) please use the engineering from Brett Sauer for your wall signs and remove the expired ASA B) add Brett Sauer’s engineered calculations for the wall sign diagrams B) add note on sign elevation diagrams to see sheet S.2. for engineered mounting of letters to raceway and from raceway to wall C) ASA engineering for the monument signs is expired… upload current ASA D) add note to monument sheets – point out locations of saddle plates and typical number and size of bolts D) add note how aluminum skirting is affixed to the support pipe / cabinetry E) add note that no field welding (unless engineer is specifying that on the special insp. Cert) 5. General safety: A) add note that monument shall be 5’ minimum from fire hydrant (there’s one here – be careful of that!)
