UDC: A) Per 7A.9.2. - nonconforming signs shall be removed or come into compliance with the code when the use at the site changes. This was last a school and is now to be storage. The nonconforming pole sign here (height, sign area, etc.) cannot be used for the storage use. You may modify the sign to meet current code, or you can remove it. Please connect with me to discuss modifications within the code criteria. B) the sign area proposed or the wall signs and canopy sign are with in code. I do suggest to break the freestanding sign aspect from this permit to allow wall signage to proceed in a timely manner and allow resolution of the freestanding sign elements via separate permit review process. 2. NEC / OLC: A) Add the standard notes to each sheet of the wall sign plans: All UL, manufacturer and installer stickers will be added to the plan set All signs will shut off at midnight via timer (they may stay on until business closure, specify time of closure or if 24 hours operation here, please) All dedicated sign circuits shall be labeled at the breaker box 3. IBC: A) check each sign diagram and add the wall type, the size and mounting of the signs to the wall and for power packs to the wall and adjust as needed Resubmit all diagrams on the portal, including location plan and application, under permit TS-PMR_0123-00132. |
