Codes: Unified Development Code 7A, Sign Standards (UDC), National Electrical Code (NEC 600), Tucson- Pima County Outdoor Lighting Code (OLC), International Building Code (IBC) 2018

1. UDC
A. provide landlord letter of permission for sign and raceway mount
B. as a courtesy to you, I acknowledge that the sign area proposed is within code

2. NEC / OLC: add the following notes to this plan set:
A. sign shall be UL listed or equivalent rating - and then list that rating
B. sign shall be bonded per NEC requirements
C. sign shall have a timer and will shut off at midnight
D. sign will not exceed internal color temperature of 4400k
E. sign shall have a dedicated circuit that will be labeled at the breaker panel
F. sign shall have UL, Manufacturer and Installer stickers on the sign
G. note the number of circuits
H. show the raceway on the elevation view and the letter dimension set

3. IBC:
A. provide clear notations for mounting the letters to the raceway (i.e size of screw, etc.)
B. provide clear notations for mounting the raceway to the wall - length of Tapcon screws into block, and the number needed for mounting the sign at minimum - or i.e. every 2 feet, etc.
C. clarify the side diagram - is this the mounting for the cabinet? The cabinet is lower than the letters so provide a diagram for each then to show side view of each or show line where the letters are and the cabinet is in relationship to the bottom edge of that raceway
