Utility permits are intended for utility companies and utility-related work, such as water, gas, electric, and communications. For sidewalk repairs or sidewalk improvements, please apply under a ROW General permit. If the sidewalk repair is related to a Notice of Violation (NOV), the following items are required: A copy of the NOV (all 2 pages), including the associated photographs. A site plan clearly identifying the location of the sidewalk panels to be repaired. A Traffic Control Plan (TCP) showing how pedestrian travel will be accommodated during the work. A separate submittal for each lot/address. If the sidewalk repair is being performed to prevent further damage and is not related to an NOV, please include a commentary page stating that the work is being performed to prevent further damage. For all sidewalk repair permits, the Contacts list must include: The registered contractor performing the work. The barricade company providing traffic control/barricades. Please submit a new ROW General permit with all required information and documentation so it can be reviewed and processed. |
