Traffic Control Plan:
1. Show lane widths, include bicycle lane.
2. Show all driveways.
3. RANDEALL BL is mislabel as CAMPBELL AVE
4. Dimension width of area to be reserved/used for the work and restrictions.
5. Provide double sided blue “business access” signs at all business driveways.
6. Depict provisions for pedestrians and bicyclists along arterials. (See MUTCD Figure 6H-28 for an example.) Pedestrian detours should be avoided. Where detours are necessary, they must be detectable and accessible.
7. Show that signs will not obstruct pedestrian route.
8. Bike lane closures should be avoided (Tucson Complete Streets Design Guide page 4-15)
9. Prefer narrowing all travel lanes to accommodate a shifted bike lane. (Tucson Complete Streets Design Guide page 4-15)
10. As a second option, bikes can use the sidewalk if signage is posted (City Code Part II Chapter 5 Section 5-2). Include BIKES USE SIDEWALK and BIKES YIELD TO PEDESTRIANS signs.
