| 04/24/2024 | ROW Engineering Review | REQUIRES RESUBMIT | The speed limit on Main is 30 mph. Sign spacing and taper lengths are different on Main than on Speedway. All taper lengths are incorrect, please correct them. Correct the sign spacing. A "Reasonable Alternative" for cyclists must be provided on streets with 35 mph or more. It appears as though a reasonable alternative is in the set up, please label this as such. On Main, a reasonable alternative is NOT needed. Instead use the R4-11 (May Use Full Lane) sign. On Speedway, where a "Reasonable Alternative" is needed, do not use the "Share the Road" sign. But rather use Bike Lane Closed and then at the reasonable alternative use M4-9c "Bike Detour." Correct the channelization device spacing. Lastly, I know that sometimes when the submitted document is turned sideways, when it is then opened on the other end, the comments do not turn with the document.
