07/12/2023 | ROW Engineering Review | REQUIRES RESUBMIT | TR-ROW-0723-00932 (2425 N ORACLE RD TUCSON, AZ 85705) Please resubmit revised drawings along with a detailed response letter which states how all comments were addressed. Traffic Control Plan: 1. MUTCD 6F.61 - Please place the arrow board at the upstream end of the merging taper (or as close as possible). 2. Ensure that warning signs will not obstruct sidewalk. 3. TSDG 4-15 - Bike lane closures should be avoided. Rather than closing the bicycle lane, would it be possible to shift it into the closed travel lane? Bike lanes need a minimum of 5’. 4. PUAM, Sec 9 - Is the sidewalk on either side of N Oracle Rd being closed? If so, please include a sidewalk control plan (See MUTCD Figure 6H-28 for an example. Email me with questions.) 5. The civil plans show pothole location #4 in the roadway, but the TCP shows the pothole possibly on the curb. Please clarify. May need to close Alturas for eastbound travel.
