Looking at the provided aerial site plans and the notes on the plans, then revieiwing hte provide traffic control plan layouts they look to have some conflicts. Site plan #1 South of Julian was Calls out a request for a Right lane closure and appears to run well into the On Ramp. Traffic Plan #1 Show Shoulder closure running up in the ramp. over the bridge. Will the Bridge work be performed from inside Julian Wash or will a Right lane closure be required for the work as called out on site plan. Will On Ramp be able to be maintained during scope of work? Site Plan #2 & Traffic Control plan #2 - North of Julian Wash and On Ramp area - Settiing double right lane closure, pushing all traffic in to the Left high speed lane up to the off ramp.. However Signs 14 & 15 (Right lane Must Turn Right) on the plan present that there will be a dedicated ramp lane opening up but do not see that represented in the design. Presents as a ramp access opening with sign 10 (Split arrow). Also will you be providing a buffer tangent after the second taper prior to the ramp access, as shown not would appear that the second taper terminates at the on ramp.. Prior to completing the review or returning documents for revisions are to able to review the Site plans and Traffic control plans to confirm accuracy of Scope of work in both aspects |
