A shared access easement between properties should have been processed when lots were subdivided since residential lot access are not allowed on arterial streets. (See Access Management Guidelines 5.4.5). A shared access easement should be obtained prior to widening existing driveway. Another option would be to apply for a Technical Standards Modifications Request (TSMR) for adding a residential driveway on arterial roadway and increasing the allowed two per 300' on arterials. (AMG 5.4.1) Show onsite maneuverability so vehicles are not backing out onto arterial roadway (Stone). A revised site/design plan should be submitted to the residential permit and ROW permit.
