01/29/2024 ROW Engineering Review REQUIRES RESUBMIT TR-ROW-0124-00102 (530 N WILMOT RD TUCSON, AZ 85711)

Please resubmit revised drawings along with a detailed response letter which states how all comments were addressed.

Site Plan:
1. Please include project contact information on the site plan.
Traffic Control Plan:
2. PUAM, Sect 9 - It looks like the sidewalk on the east side of Wilmot will be affected. Please provide a sidewalk plan that shows how pedestrians will be routed around the work area.
3. From the site plan, it looks like you may be able to detour pedestrians through the site. If they cannot be detoured through the site, you will need to close a lane of traffic on Wilmot and route pedestrians into a protected, detectable, and accessible ped detour on the street (because it is more than 660’ to the nearest ped crossing to the south). For an example of a sidewalk plan, see MUTCD Figure 6H-28. Email me with questions or for more examples.
4. COT DTM Policy 6.01.1 – If you end up needing to route peds into the road, please provide a space for bikes behind the barricades. Use a second line of barricades to create a 5’ shifting bike lane.
