| Design Review * | REVIEW COMPLETED | The SMD Design Package will need to demonstrate compliance with applicable SMD requirements, and will need to clearly indicate/include: 1) The type of Retail land uses proposed, to ensure the proposed retail use is allowed in the SMD Park Subarea; 2) Any outdoor serving or use area; 3) Square footages for each proposed land use; 4) Motor vehicle and bicycle parking calculations for each proposed land use (Retail and Food Service). The SMD permits Food Services, Commercial Recreation, and Perishable Goods Manufacturing. Parking ratios for the SMD are as follows: Food Service - 1 space per 300 sq ft public seating area including outdoor seating All Retail/Sales - 1 space per 500 sqft GFA up to 3,000 sqft Refer to SMD Table III.H.2 for Vehicular Parking Reductions- Nonresidential uses in an eligible, individually listed or contributing property which may or may not qualify for adaptive reuse may waive parking requirements for uses with parking ratios of fewer than 1 to 300 sq ft GFA ADA parking will need to be calculated and provided per the underlying zoning requirements 5) Proposed design for refuse collection will need to be approved by the Department of Environmental Services; 6) The planned Arroyo Chico Greenway is adjacent to the south. Please coordinate with the Department of Parks and Recreation to determine if improvements related to the Arroyo Chico Greenway are required as part of this project.
