PROPOSED USE: This Special Exception request is for minor technology upgrades to an existing Tucson Water well. Site improvements include removing and replacing the existing shade structure with a new 9’ shade structure and installing the new SCADA system.

The above referenced request is being analyzed for a staff report and recommendation to the Zoning Examiner. Please advise of any considerations involving your jurisdiction including adopted policy, existing capacities, or planned improvements that should be evaluated in relation to this proposal. Relate specific information, such as design criteria, actual traffic counts, water demand impact, sewer capacities, lack of park facilities, etc. Also indicate facilities or services available for the proposed project, and give your opinion as to the adequacy of such services for the proposal.
It is particularly important to have specific data available if services are inadequate and you believe the proposal should be denied. If no response is received from your office, it will be so indicated in the communications to the Zoning Examiner and Mayor and Council. Once the project becomes more definitive, official load plans will need to be submitted by the owner/developer in order for TEP to fully assess the future needs and requirements. Please have the owner/developer submit a new service application and any other pertinent information well in advance to ensure that TEP can build and/or extend the appropriate facilities to this development.
