The subsequent review could generate more comments after original comments have been addressed. 1. Please ensure the referenced codes used in the design of this project are the 2018 IBC or the 2024 IBC and remove all references to other Codes such as CBC. Please provide structural design criteria, calculations and construction drawings for the site at Tucson, AZ and the 2018 IBC prepared and sealed by an Arizona Registrant that adequately show the scope of work and compliance with the adopted building codes. Reference: Section 107.1, IBC 2018 and Arizona Revised Statutes 32-125, Board of Technical Registration Rules R4-30-304. 2. Please provide structural design and calculations to reference the codes adopted and amended by the City of Tucson. IBC 107.2. For example, the 2018 IBC, 2024 IFC etc. 3. Please take note of our wind speed amendment. Section 1609.1.1 Determination of wind loads. REVISE Section by ADDING the following after the last paragraph: Per the Basic Wind Speed Figures, use the following: Risk Category I – 100 mph Risk Category II – 105 mph Risk Category III – 110 mph Risk Category IV – 115 mph 4. Please note construction drawings are to be sealed and dated by an Arizona licensed registrant. IBC 107.1 and amend the drawings to show or include the following information. 5. Please provide an installation/staking design, calculations and construction drawing, prepared by an Arizona licensed designer, seal, signed and dated reflecting the conditions for the site in Tucson, AZ. IBC 107.1 Please include the following information in the design criteria. A. The design code is the 2018 IBC or 2024 IBC as amended by the City of Tucson B. The wind speed has been amended as follows - Section 1609.1.1 Determination of wind loads. Risk Category I – 100 mph Risk Category II – 105 mph Risk Category III – 110 mph Risk Category IV – 115 mph 6. Please provide construction/staking drawings sealed and dated by an Arizona licensed registrant. IBC 107.1 and amend the drawings to show or include the following information. A. Please provide a base layout plan to indicate how many stakes are required at each base plate. Also amend the plans to identify the diameter, length and material strength of the anchoring stakes. IBC 107.2.7 New Please provide installation/staking design, calculations, and construction drawings prepared, sealed, signed, and dated by an Arizona-licensed design professional. The submittal must reflect the site-specific conditions, base reactions, and the required ballast/anchorage design for the project location in Tucson, Arizona, in accordance with IBC 107.1. Please include the following design criteria: A. The applicable design code shall be the 2018 IBC or the 2024 IBC as amended by the City of Tucson. Base Layout Plan: A. Please provide a base layout plan prepared, sealed, signed, and dated by an Arizona-licensed design professional indicating the required number of stakes at each base plate. B.
