Floor Plan (For inspection purposes by Tucson Fire Department) a. Thank you for submitting a floor plan that shows the fire extinguishers. b. However, the following are not shown on the plan. i. LOCATE/LABEL THE FOLLOWING ON THE PLAN: 1. LIGHTED EXIT LIGHTS WITH POWER BACKUP 2. EMERGENCY LIGHTS WITH POWER BACKUP 5. ELECTRIC POWER GENERATOR(S) - IF USED 2. The following was previously requested, however it is missing on the submission. Per our telephone and email communication, you were in coordination with a structural engineer. a. Structural members size Calculations exhibits and Anchoring System used shall be sealed/signed/dated by an Arizona licensed Structural Engineer. b. Awnings & canopies shall comply to the fire propagation performance criteria Test 1 or 2 of NFPA 701 and Flame Spread Index not greater than 25 per ASTM E84 or UL 723 and comply to NFPA 286 per IBC 3105.3 (Please submit this information.) 3. Thank You for providing the post bottom plate information. However, the Anchoring System used are not provided. a. Please submit exhibit drawings. If stakes are used. 1. Provide length and diameter of stake. a. Provide resistance capacity. 2. Provide how many stakes per post. a. Provide calculation on total resistance. b. Provide lateral forces to be resisted by the anchoring system at each post. b. No information as to how the structure is anchored onto soil/earth. i. Please submit exhibit drawings. 4. Please resubmit. 5. NOTE: I propose to keep this review open allowing you to upload the documents above with corrections made with the hope that this will speed up the approval for this tent. 6.
