Additionally, please submit complete copies of all permit documents (i.e. plans, calculations, reports, etc.) even if they have not been changed. The subsequent review could generate more comments after original comments have been addressed. 1. Please ensure the referenced codes used in the design of this project are the 2024 IBC & 2024 IFC and remove all references to other Codes such as CBC. 2. Please provide structural design, calculations and construction drawings for the membrane structure prepared and sealed by an Arizona Registrant Section 107.1, IBC 2024 and Arizona Revised Statutes 32-125, Board of Technical Registration Rules R4-30-304. 3. Please take note of our wind speed amendment. Section 1609.1.1 Determination of wind loads. REVISE Section by ADDING the following after the last paragraph: Per the Basic Wind Speed Figures, use the following: Risk Category I – 100 mph Risk Category II – 105 mph Risk Category III – 110 mph Risk Category IV – 115 mph 4. Please note construction drawings are to be sealed and dated by an Arizona licensed registrant. IBC 107.1 and amend the drawings to show or include the following information. A. The design code is the 2018 IBC or 2024 IBC as amended by the City of Tucson B. The wind speed has been amended as follows - Section 1609.1.1 Determination of wind loads. Risk Category I – 100 mph Risk Category II – 105 mph Risk Category III – 110 mph Risk Category IV – 115 mph 5. Please provide installation/staking design, calculations, and construction drawings prepared, sealed, signed, and dated by an Arizona-licensed design professional. The submittal must reflect the site-specific conditions, base reactions, and the required ballast/anchorage design for the project location in Tucson, Arizona, in accordance with IBC 107.1. A. Staking/Ballast/Anchoring Plan: B. Plans to specify the diameter, length, and material strength of all anchoring stakes, in accordance with IBC 107.2.7.
