| 09/23/2026 | Site Engineering | REQUIRES RESUBMIT | Upon further review: Since your building is listed as a contributing historic structure, you now have a few options to choose from: Option 1: Use an existing elevation certificate Provide the elevation certificate from 2012 (xx) that shows the structure already meets floodplain elevation requirements. Option 2: Get a new elevation certificate Have a new elevation certificate prepared by PDSD to be completed by a registered surveyor or engineer to confirm the current elevation meets regulatory floodplain elevation. Option 3 (original option): Provide a cost estimate Submit a cost estimate for the work. Because the building has historic status, the estimate would count toward the "substantial improvement" threshold ONLY IF the structure were to lose its historic status. Please contact me if you wish to pursue option 2, else upload the existing elevation certificate or cost-estimate. John Mounsey – Site Engineer John.Mounsey@tucsonaz.gov |
