These are the same comments left on Fence/Wall Permit TC-RES-0526-02864:
1. This project is in the recognized City of Tucson Shallow Flow/Floodplain. Please complete the floodplain use (FPU) permit (TE-FPU-0626-00241) during the resubmittal of this fence/wall permit. Submit ALL documents to BOTH permits on TDC-Online. (This permit will not be approved without successful completion of the related FPU permit, TE-FPU-0626-00241.)
2. On next submittal, provide a detail of flood venting in the CMU wall. If no vents were provided during the construction of this fence/wall, then solid CMU blocks must be removed to meet floodplain requirements:
Due to the shallow/sheet flow of the floodplain in this area, flood venting may be 1 unobstructed vent block every 5’. Provide this detail on the next submittal.
