1. This floodplain use permit will require elevation certificate to be filled out by a registered land surveyor or engineer and submitted to the associated FPU permit. This is a benchmark elevation certificate to determine if the structure built without a permit is at or above the regulatory floor elevation.
2. It was determined that the base flood elevation (BFE) for the structure is 2473.57-FT NAVD 88. This will require a minimum finished floor elevation (FFE) of 2474.57-FT NAVD 88.
3. The proposed project/site resides within the recognized FEMA XS floodplain and will require the submission and approval of the elevation certificate; else the structure will need to be raised to the regulatory floor elevation.
4. Next steps are to submit a complete elevation certificate by a registered surveyor or engineer (the Elevation Certificate will become available with invoice has been paid).
