External Reviewers - Tucson Electric Power (TEP) | REVIEW COMPLETED | Greetings, Tucson Electric Power Company (TEP) has conducted a comprehensive review of development plan TD-DIV-1124-00097 and would like to communicate that there are no objections to the proposed plan. It is imperative to note, however, that any expenses associated with the removal or relocation of existing TEP facilities will be charged to the developer. Currently, TEP facilities are situated within the boundaries of the proposed plat, and TEP always requires uninterrupted access to these facilities for maintenance and operational purposes. Moreover, it is important to emphasize that TEP standards prohibit the placement of equipment within the Road Right of Way (ROW). As a result, an easement may be requested in accordance with Arizona Administrative Code, R14-2-206. To facilitate the initiation of service for the new development, we kindly request that you contact our New Construction Department at 520-918-8300. A final set of approved plans must be submitted, which should include specific details regarding electrical load requirements and offsite improvement plans. This information is essential for TEP to determine the most effective means of servicing your development. Should any new TEP facilities require easements, those will be secured through a separate legal instrument. Thank you for your attention to these matters.
