| TW New Development Review | REQUIRES RESUBMIT | TD-DIV-1123-00126 - Land Division_Land Split_Lot Split v1 – 3902 S MISSION RD 1. The proposed lot configuration does not meet the requirements of Tucson Water’s Remote Meter Policy No. IV-B.08, Eff. 07/14/2009. To comply with Tucson Water’s Remote Meter Policy, each of the proposed lots must have a minimum of 15’ of real property frontage onto a public or private street or (water easement) that contains an existing water line that can serve the lot. While there is a 24” concrete cylinder water transmission main on the east side Mission Road, it may not be used to serve the proposed lots. Tucson Water does not allow water service connections for individual residences or commercial buildings to be made to water transmission mains. 2. To comply with the above referenced policy, you have two options: a) Reconfigure the lot layout in such a manner that each lot has a minimum of 15’ of real property frontage onto West Probasco Drive. There is an existing 6” water main in West Probasco Drive that was constructed under Plan Number (PN) 133-1983 in 1983. b) Continue to use the current lot layout and construct an extension of Tucson Water’s distribution system on the west side of Mission Road from the existing 6” water main in West Probasco Drive south along the frontage of all three lots. 3. The water mains in this area are shown on Tucson Water’s NW341413 valve map. Copies of the valve maps and ‘as-built’ plans referenced in these comments may be obtained from Tucson Water’s Mapping & GIS Center by sending an e-mail request for them to TWMapInfo@tucsonaz.gov. 4. A copy of Tucson Water’s Remote Meter Policy No. IV-B.08, Eff. 07/14/2009 may be obtained by sending an e-mail request for this policy to me at the e-mail address in my signature block. 5.
