2. For the purposes of having a water meter, a parcel is required to have a minimum width of 15-feet of frontage on a water main. An easement is not considered to be frontage. Contact Tim Rowe at Tucson Water (tim.rowe@tucsonaz.gov) for assistance in determining how water can be supplied to lot A. Reference: Tucson Water Remote Meter Policy, Number IV-B.08, dated 07/14/2009.

2. Provide the height for the existing structure. Per UDC 6.3-2.A, the required side perimeter yard setback is the greater of 6 feet or 2/3 the height of the exterior building wall. If the height of the building wall on the western boundary requires a greater setback than 6 feet a Design Development Option will be required to reduce the setback.

TW New Development Review REQUIRES RESUBMIT 1. The proposed lot configuration does not meet the requirements of Tucson Water’s Remote Meter Policy No. IV-B.08, Eff. 07/14/2009. This policy requires each of the proposed lots must have a minimum of 15’ of real property frontage onto a public or private street, public alley (or public utility or water easement granted to the City of Tucson) that contains a public water main that can be tapped to serve the lot. Lot B meets this requirement, but Lot A does not.

2. A copy of Tucson Water’s Remote Meter Policy No. IV-B.08, Eff. 07/14/2009 may be obtained by sending an e-mail request for this policy to me at the e-mail address in my signature block.
