| 03/29/2023 | Site Engineering | REQUIRES RESUBMIT | 1. Dimension the bollard spacing along the existing dog run and the 1-way paal. Max bollard spacing is 5.5’ center to center. 2. With the proposed 6” diameter bollards in the pedestrian path show that the path is still the minimum 4’ wide. 3. Clarify if the sidewalk along the west side of the new pet service building has the required vertical curb separating the vehicle use area and the pedestrian circulation path. The line work and the enlarged site plan indicate that there is no vertical curbing. 4. The back up spur adjacent to the sidewalk along the set side of the new pet service building will allow cars to overhang the sidewalk 2.5’, demonstrate how the 4’ min width in the sidewalk will be maintained with the back up spur. 5. The pedestrian circulation path over to the trash enclosure doesn’t work per TSM section 7-01.4.1.F since the path is between the motor vehicle parking space and the PAAL providing access to that space to the north. Revise as needed. 6. Dimension the proposed angled parking spaces or provide a detail that shows the width and length of those spaces. 7. The tandem parking spaces proposed need to be min. 8’ by 23’ per UDC article 7.4.6.D.2.c. Revise as needed. 8. From recent clarification from Environmental Services, per TSM section 8, although recycling service isn’t required the site does need to provide at minimum the enclosure space for both solid waste and recycling. So a single enclosure won’t be sufficient and a double enclosure or an additional single enclosure will be needed to meet this requirement. It is also important to point out per TSM section 8-01.4.I - required parking may be reduced for existing development when solid waste and recycle enclosures are provided.
