05/29/2024 | Site Engineering | REQUIRES RESUBMIT | Tucson codes and ordinances can be found online at https://codelibrary.amlegal.com/codes/tucson/latest/overview The Design Standards for Stormwater Detention and Retention manual can be found online at https://www.tucsonaz.gov/files/sharedassets/public/pdsd/documents/engineering-code/updated-retention-detention-manual.pdf TD-DEV-0324-00095 1. SWPPP: Please indicate the location of the construction entrance and ensure that erosion control will be in place around the entire site perimeter. 2. The lot elevation between lots 330 and 331 and also lots 329 and 332 are greater than six inches. Please indicate if there will be a retaining wall between these lots. Show all proposed retaining walls on the plans. 3. Please provide a narrative in the drainage report that describes the proposed hydraulic improvements that will convey water to the proposed basins. 4. Explain in the drainage report how additional discharge from the site into the existing collector basin will reduce the discharge. 5. The 103 cfs regulatory flow was acknowledged in section 6 of the drainage report. Please indicate how that regulatory floodplain is being mitigated or how it does not affect the proposed development or any existing development. 6. The Summary of Detention Routing table indicates that the 100-year inflow to the South Basin is 138 cfs. Please indicate where this flow is occurring. 7. The North Basin’s retention depth is greater than 2 feet and the slopes are steeper than 4:1, so a security barrier will be required around the basin per Retention-Detention Manual Section 4.11.1. 8. Provide compaction plan for stabilized DG path in the proposed uncompacted channel. 9. Detail 35 indicates that the contractor will scarify the basin and leave it uncompacted, but the subgrade is shown to be compacted. Please clarify. 10. Provide details for storm drains, including the pipes that should be with detail 16. Provide compaction information. 11. Provide details for riprap sections that include filter fabric specifications, especially for the inlet for the South Basin. Lianne Evans lianne.evans@tucsonaz.gov |
