This letter reflects comments to be addressed. Provide updated Plans/calculations and a written response Letter to each of the notated items indicating action taken. Resubmitted plans that do not contain a written response Letter addressing each of the notated items indicating action taken, may be delayed until response letter is received. Code reference, 2018 International Building Code (IBC), 2017 National Electrical Code (NEC). 1. Demonstrate compliance with NEC 230.2 (Number of Services). Must have written consent from the Building Official through appeal. Plans show 3 services. 2. The Briggs &Stratton PP13 Generator specifications sheets show an Overcurrent Protection requirement of 70A, while the Electrical Single Line Diagram shows a 60A OCPD being used. Please verify and correct. 3. The #8 Cu conductor from the generator to the ATS is undersized for the given 60A OCPD, NEC 240.4. 4. The #8 Cu conductor from the ATS to the TEL Cabinet Panel is undersized for the given 60A OCPD, NEC 240.4. 5. The 3 sets of 300kcmil Cu service entrance conductors appear to be undersized for the given 600A OCPD (200A*3). NEC 230.90(A). 6. Update the electrical site plan and show the location of the ‘Non-GFI outlet’, Rectifier, BATT Heater and Gen Plug.
