Electrical load calculations which demonstrate that the premises electrical system has load capacity to accommodate the EV charging load (Include the EV charger in the load calculations as a continuous use item). See 2018 IRC E3704.2. City of Tucson code amendments to 2018 IRC: o Add new Section N1104.2.2 (IECC R 404.2.2) as follows: Section N1104.2.2 (IECC R404.2.2) Documentation (Mandatory). Construction documents shall indicate the EVSE location and shall provide information on wiring methods, circuiting and electrical load calculations which demonstrate that the premises electrical system has load capacity to accommodate the EV charging load.
