Resubmitted plans that do not contain a written response Letter addressing each of the notated items indicating action taken, may be delayed until response letter is received. Code reference, 2018 International Residential Code (IRC), 2017 National Electrical Code (NEC). Structural Review: 1. For wind uplift use 115 mph in 3sec gust, IRC Table R301.2(1). Show this wind value on the plans: https://www.tucsonaz.gov/files/sharedassets/public/pdsd/documents/building-code/2018_-_irc_amendments.pdf >> Provide the following structural calculations. 2. Provide a lag-bolt connection up-lift calculation demonstrating the wind load supporting capability, or provide an engineer’s calculation, and sealed design, IRC R301.1, R324.4. Note on the plans: PV breaker must be at the opposite end of the bus bar from the main service breaker, 2017 NEC 705.12(B)(2)(3)(b). 4. Provide electrical load calculations for determining the main service panel/breaker size, E3602.2. Derating of the main breaker requires load calculations. 5. TEP will not allow multiple Utility DG Meters. Either provide TEP approval of the multiple Utility DG Meters, or combine the PV sources through on Utility DG Meter.
