This letter reflects comments to be addressed. Provide updated Plans/calculations and a written response Letter to each of the notated items indicating action taken. Resubmitted plans that do not contain a written response Letter addressing each of the notated items indicating action taken, may be delayed until response letter is received. Code reference, 2018 International Residential Code (IRC). 1. Notate and specify all piping materials and sizes, P2608. 2. Separate submittal to Pima County RWRD is required for new connections to sewer. Contact sewer@pima.gov for review and assessment. 3. Provide Pima County RWRD permit number and permit approval for the new sewer connection. 4. Contact Pima County RWRD for permitting required to decommission the existing septic system. 5. A Right of Way permit is required for excavation in the alleyway. 6. Provide elevation measurements for Next Upstream Manhole and Finished Floor Elevation. Provide Backwater valve protection as/if required. Backwater valve protection: https://www.tucsonaz.gov/files/sharedassets/public/pdsd/documents/building-code/2018_-_irc_amendments.pdf Section P3008.1 Where required. Where the finish floor elevation is less than 12 inches above the elevation of the next upstream manhole cover in the sewer, a backwater valve shall be installed in the building drain or branch of the building drain serving that floor.
