This letter reflects comments to be addressed. Provide updated Plans/calculations and a written response Letter to each of the notated items indicating action taken. Resubmitted plans that do not contain a written response Letter addressing each of the notated items indicating action taken, may be delayed until response letter is received. Code reference, 2018 International Residential Code (IRC), 2017 National Electrical Code (NEC). 1. You will need to file a Change of address request through TDC portal, in order to show the corrected address/unit on the permit. Updated plans do show the correct address/unit for the ADU. Because the OHE line passes over more than 4’ of the roof, exception 3 does not apply. You may use exception 1 or 2(must provide the roof slope). Show the mast height on the electrical riser diagram, NEC 230.24, Providing 8’ clearance above the ADU roof, or relocate the service entrance to a code compliant location, E3604.2.1 exception 1. The overhead service conductor over the ADU building requires an 8’ clearance above the roof, E3604.2.1 exception 1. The necessary mast height at the existing panel location may not be a feasible installation. Provide the ADU Roof slope. 3.
