This site is located in the RX-2 zone (UDC 4.7.7). A single-family residence is a permitted use in this zone (Table 4.8-1. 1. Per UDC Table 6.3-1.A the minimum setback to the interior property lines are 20’-0”. Perimeter yard setbacks for a carport structure are measured from the post supporting the structure as long as the roof overhang is not greater than 2’-0”, UDC Articles 6.4.5.B.2 & 6.4.5.D.1.b. Based on the 3’ overhang shown the proposed setback from the carport to the north property line is 10’-6” and based on a 1’ overhang the proposed setback to the east property line is 14’-7”. As you have elected to use the Design Development Option (DDO) process the DDO will need to be approved prior to approval of this permit.
