Code reference, 2018 International Residential Code (IRC). 1. Relocation of the gas meter requires the inclusion of all gas pipe line sizes and materials (metal pipe, PEX, etc.). Also show the exact location of the 7” repair and the new valves. 2. Note and specify all piping materials (Black Iron, Gas line PEX, etc.), G2412.9. 3. Provide the length measured from the meter to the farthest attached appliance. Size the pipe based on the length from the meter to the farthest attached appliance and max total demand of all attached appliances using Table G2413.4(1) (Metallic Pipe), Table G2413.4(7) Polyethylene Plastic Pipe. Note: The length is measured from the meter to the furthest attached appliance for all sizing, G2413.4.1. 4. Yellow tracer wire required for non-metallic pipe, G2415.17.3.
