Provide updated Plans/calculations and a written response Letter to each of the notated items indicating action taken. Resubmitted plans that do not contain a written response Letter addressing each of the notated items indicating action taken, may be delayed until response letter is received.
Code reference, 2018 International Residential Code (IRC), 2017 National Electrical Code (NEC).

1. Clarify the scope of work. The permit details state that this is a service upgrade, but the provided plans appear to show more than just a service upgrade. Clearly detail on the plans the complete scope of work. R106.1.
2. Provide a Site Plan showing the location of the upgraded service entrance. Note if it is in the same location.
3. Update the panel schedule showing panel size, circuit numbers, ampacity, wire size and general description, E3404.13 & E3706.2. Provide a panel schedule showing wire size of each circuit or notate the wire size for each protection rating, E3702.2.
4. Protection of all interior 15A & 20A circuits serving outlet locations (except garage, kitchen, and bathrooms) including receptacles, lights and smoke detectors with the require combination type arc-fault circuit interrupters, E3902.16. Update Arc-fault notes to include all required locations.
5. Clothes Washer and Dishwasher/Disposal GFCI: receptacles require readily accessible protection, E3902.9 & 10.
6. Show receptacle outlets at each kitchen counter space wider than 12” with no point along the wall line more than 24” from a receptacle outlet, E3901.4.1. Show receptacles within 2’ of counter edges or corners and no more than 4’ apart.
