Code reference, 2018 International Residential Code (IRC), 2017 National Electrical Code (NEC). 1. Residential systems with solar backfeed OCPD protection of 100A or greater, require a design and calculations provided by an Arizona registered Electrical Engineer, R106.1. 2. The existing system can remain in its current location as it was installed per code at the time, R102.7.1.
