Please resubmit revised drawings with a detailed response letter stating how all Zoning Review Section comments were addressed.

1. This comment has not yet been addressed. Per Tucson Unified Development Code (UDC) 6.6.3.C, detached accessory buildings are not permitted in the buildable area extending the full width of the lot between the principal building and the front street lot line, except for shade structures or carports not over 400 square feet in floor area.

The comment response letter indicates a five-foot sidewalk will connect the detached carport to the principal structure. Provide a detail demonstrating the structural attachment connecting the two structures is at least five-feet-wide and can support a live load of at least 20 pounds in the event of a fire. A open, trellis-like structure does not meet the structural attachment requirement.
