This letter reflects comments to be addressed. Provide updated Plans/calculations and a written response Letter to each of the notated items indicating action taken. Resubmitted plans that contain a written response Letter addressing each of the notated items indicating action taken, may be delayed until response letter is received. Code reference, 2018 International Residential Code (IRC). 1. Provide PV interconnection in compliance with NEC 705.12. See NEC 705.12(B)(2)(1) a-b. The #2 awg Cu feeder conductor is undersized for this Feeder tap. or the 125A subpanel breaker is oversized for the rating of the conductor. a.) The feeder on the load side tap must be sized for 125% of the PV source current plus the current rating of the OCPD protecting the conductor at its source (200A fuse). 200A + 31A > 115A. b.) Or the OCPD on the load side of the feeder must be sized no greater than the rating of the feeder conductor. #2 CU @75 degrees C is rated at 115A which is less than the 125A OCPD on the load side of the feeder in the sub-panel. 2.
