Please resubmit revised drawings along with a detailed response letter, which states how all Landscape/NPPO Review Section comments are addressed. SITE LANDSCAPE/NPPO SECTION COMMENTS: 1. Upon review of aerial images of the site, it appears that protected native vegetation may be present on the site. If any of the existing vegetation is going to be removed or damaged during construction, then a Native Plant Preservation Plan that shows preservation, transplant and mitigation for the protected plants will need to be provided. If there are no viable native plants, or if there are native plants, but they won’t be disturbed, then please provide a NPPO Waiver for the project. If a copy of the NPPO Waiver for exception is needed, please contact me at the email below. Fill out the exception form and provide photo documentation of the plant material that will be preserved in place or non-native/non-viable native plants to be removed. 2. Preparation of all elements of the Native Plant Preservation Plan, please see UDC 7.7.4.D PROFESSIONAL EXPERTISE. If you have any questions about these comments, I can be reached at chad.keller@tucsonaz.gov |
