This letter reflects comments to be addressed. Provide updated Plans/calculations and a written response Letter to each of the notated items indicating action taken. Resubmitted plans that do not contain a written response Letter addressing each of the notated items indicating action taken, may be delayed until response letter is received. Code reference, 2018 International Residential Code (IRC), 2017 National Electrical Code (NEC). 1. Provide framing details to show the attachment of new roof structures to existing structure. 2. Provide framing details to show the attachment of the rafters to the mid-span beam. 3. Identify all fasteners for wind loading compliance. Show roof (uplift resistance) fasteners (H2.5) with appropriate uplift capacity, R802.11 amended. 4. Provide specification sheet for the 32” Plate Bolt for the beam to column attachment. 5. Provide concistend information between Plan Detail E and Note #7. Two different Plate Bolt lengths are provided. 6. Indicate the direction of slope for the carport slab R309.2. 7. Notate all roof slopes appropriate with selected material, R901.1. (Minimum allowable slope for Built-up roof is ¼” per foot, R905.9.1. Minimum allowable slope for roll roofing is 1” per foot, R905.5.2.). Verify that the roof covering product being used is rated for the slope of the roof. A single-family residence is a permitted use in this zone (Table 4.8-2) subject to Use Specific Standards 4.9.7.B.5 - .9. Comments: Please resubmit revised drawings along with a detailed response letter which states how all Zoning Review Section comments were addressed. 1. Comment: The site plan should be designed to include the information as noted on the sample site plan. Please see https://www.tucsonaz.gov/files/sharedassets/public/v/1/pdsd/documents/permits/residential-permits/residential_plot_plan_requirements.pdf for reference. 2. Comment: Please provide the lot coverage calculations on the site plan. The lot coverage shall not exceed 70% in the R-1 zone.
