Code reference, 2018 International Residential Code (IRC). Electrical Review: 1. Show the OCPD/breaker, inside the generator, sized according to the specifications, E3705. 2. Provide conductors sized according to E3704.1. See Table 3705.1 for conductor ampacity ratings. 3. Provide electrical load calculations for the backup load panel, to show generator backup is sufficient, according to E3704.2. 4. Show conductor type and size for all lines, N1-2, E1-2, T1-2. Show all conduit sizes and types, Table E3907.8 and 2017 NEC chapter 9. Also show the control conductors from the generator to the ATS. Plumbing/Gas Review: 5. Note and specify all piping materials and sizes, P2609. Show the max gas demand on the plans. 6. Show connection lengths from gas meter to the generator.
