Code reference, 2018 International Residential Code (IRC), 2017 National Electrical Code (NEC). 1. Provide an electrical riser diagram, 2017 NEC 230.9. Notate the grounding and bonding method, 2017 NEC 250.20(B), 250.24, 250.30(A)(4). Metallic gas lines must be bonded and not be used as the primary grounding method, 2017 NEC 250.50, 250.52(B)(1). 2. Show the mast height on the electrical riser diagram, NEC 230.24. a. Providing 8’ clearance above the roof or relocate the service entrance to a code compliant location, 2017 NEC 230.24(A).
