Code reference, 2018 International Residential Code (IRC). 1. Provide an electrical riser diagram, E3403. Notate the grounding and bonding method, E3603.4, E3607. Metallic gas lines must be bonded and not be used as the primary grounding method, E3608. 2. Show the mast height on the electrical riser diagram, NEC 230.24. a. Providing 8’ clearance above the porch roof Or relocate the service entrance to a code compliant location, E3604.2.1. The overhead service conductor over the proposed building requires an 8’ clearance above the roof, E3604.2.1.
